Our First Karwa Chauth.
ReplyDeleteIn 2003 it was our first Karwa Chauth, and I had decided to give a moral support to my wife as she had to remain without food and water for the whole long day. I decide to remain hungry and thirsty and also decide to take water only when my wife will take. She is deaf and dumb, do I don't want to hurt her by telling that I will remain hungry and thirsty for her, so I had decided to hide it with my wife. Luckily, that day was my working day so I have to go to office.
In the morning during breakfast I ask her that I am feeling not well so I will not take breakfast and gone office without food. During lunch I give my lunch to a small beggar girl was come near to my office.
In the evening when my wife was going to prepare tea for me then I told her that we will take tea together. Then she come to know that I have not taken even water since morning. She literally start crying and said that even her mother had not take care about her if she remain hungry and even she not seen too much love for her in her own house. Since then our bound become very strong.
Till now we spent Sixteen karwa chauths together and I will repeat this routine on 17th October 2019 for the sake of my wife, not for God, as I don't had too much hate for God but had love for my wife. This Karwa Chaut will be special for me because on 17th October my daughter will celebrate her 14th birthday.
Last but not least, I want to say my wife, I love you and my wish is that I will die before you or we both with die together.
